HOW WE WORK WITH PEOPLE

Our Charter is shaped by what people have told us matters when working with Elevate. It guides how we treat people, make decisions and carry out assessments.

We believe high standards and a positive human experience belong together.

These commitments apply to everyone representing Elevate and shape the experience of everyone we work with.

What our commitments mean

Equity and inclusion.png
Equity and inclusion

We recognise individual needs and remove unnecessary barriers. Everyone deserves a fair opportunity to demonstrate what they know and can do. We respond to people’s needs in ways that protect fairness and integrity.

Respect, humility and kindness

We listen before forming a view. We remain aware of our assumptions, our authority and the effect our words and actions may have. We communicate difficult decisions with care and treat people with dignity.

Integrity and accountability.png
Integrity and accountability

We assess the evidence, not the person. Our decisions are fair, consistent and evidence-based. Commercial pressure, personal preference and relationships never influence assessment decisions.

We welcome questions, challenge and honest feedback. We admit uncertainty, take responsibility when something goes wrong and reconsider our approach when there is good reason to do so.

Clarity and reliability.png
Clarity and reliability

We value clear, honest communication, and our actions match our words. We set realistic expectations, respect people's time and do what we say we will do. If something changes or goes wrong, we explain what has happened and what will happen next.

Tell us when we do not live up to this Charter

We welcome honest feedback. If you believe Elevate, or someone representing Elevate, has not lived up to this Charter, please tell us. We will listen, consider what you tell us and respond honestly.

Raising a concern in good faith will not affect how you are treated, your working relationship with Elevate or the independence of any assessment decision.
