Elevate Awarding gains Ofqual recognition for three more apprenticeship standards

17 April 2026 – Elevate has been formally recognised by Ofqual to deliver Assessment for three additional apprenticeship standards, marking a major step in the organisation’s continued growth.

The newly approved standards are:

  • Level 2 Community Activator Coach.

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer

  • Level 4 Sports Coach.

The approval expands Elevate’s portfolio beyond education and into sport, leisure and wellbeing – giving providers and employers the option to work with one trusted Awarding Organisation across a wider range of standards.

The move builds on Elevate’s existing recognition for the Level 7 Academic Professional, Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant, Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher, and Level 3 Teaching Assistant, and reflects the organisation’s ambition to deliver high-quality, fair and inclusive assessment across sectors where professional practice and positive outcomes matter most.

‘This is a significant moment for Elevate,’ said Mel Feek, Founder and CEO of Elevate Awarding. ‘We’re proud to extend our recognised assessment services into sport, leisure and wellbeing, and to support providers and employers working in sectors that make such a meaningful difference to people’s lives.
Our approach remains the same – clear communication, responsive support, and assessment that is rigorous, inclusive and grounded in real practice. We’re excited to bring that experience to these new standards and to continue growing our offer in a way that helps providers, employers and learners feel confident in every outcome.’

The newly recognised standards support a broad range of roles – from community-based physical activity and leisure operations to personal training and sports coaching.

With demand continuing to grow across these sectors, the latest approvals strengthen Elevate’s position as an organisation offering a more personal, responsive alternative to larger awarding organisations.

Elevate is known for its relationship-led approach, transparent communication and commitment to making assessment feel better. Its assessments are delivered by experienced professionals who bring both credibility and current practice to the process, helping to ensure assessment is robust, relevant and supportive.
